Here is a peak at the early stages of the porting, which is done on the head machine to establish the same size bowl for each port. The shapes are cut with contour cut carbide cutters to keep all the holes the same optimum size and shape. The pocket on the right gives you some idea of how much work needs to be done. The stock ex is very restrictive and small.
The intakes are not as bad stock, ... but still need plenty of work  down past the valve guides, where the port closes in like the shape of a coke bottle. The short turn radius gets plenty of reshaping on both the ex and ints.
The bottom end gets a full treatment of turbo rods and Wiseco pistons, blue-printing and TLC by me, of course!
