The engineering work on a new WISECO forged piston for the 2.4 DOHC engine is now complete. The piston will be available in different compressions for street and strip. An 8.6:1 forced induction design for turbo lovers. We have a Nitrous / SC piston, already in production that will net 10.50 : 1 comp with a 50 cc chamber.   **** Don't forget to upgrade the rods in your PT engine ****
I am currently producing a custom silicon-bronze (936 alloy) bushing to adapt the 2.5 turbo rod to these new WISECO pistons, for use in the 2.4 DOHC engine. These rods are very stronge and will be fine, for most applications. For extreemly aggressive engines, (over 400 HP), I would recomend a billet rod.
You can't be too safe, when you pour this much money in your engine!
** The new H-beam rods on the market, are cut for the stock PT bearings!!
The Clevite rod bearings are not available to fit them!

A max comp piston, 12.5 :  1 comp
... some good things have changed.  I have invested in some quantiy of these parts and have secured a better source on the T-2 rods.  I can now offer the T-2 rods,  bushed to fit the 2.4 pistons and hi performance bolts,  for a low $280 a set! They are fully inspected, re-sized and balanced in sets.
Wiseco pistons, either 8.6 or 10.5 will now cost you $425, with pins AND rings!
CL-77 Rod bearings are $25 per set.  Rods,  Wiseco pistons / pins / rings and Cl77 bearings for $750
10.5 : 1 compression, deeps pockets and OS valves are no problem!  This is your choice for supercharged / NOS engine build-ups.
8.6 : 1 compression for turbo engines, big valves and high lift, .... no problem!
No body has more turbo experience with turbo engines than Chrysler! These T-2 rods were designed and built tor turbo engines!!
