I got my Cruiser in October.
To date I've; lowered it with Eibach springs, 2" front, 3" rear; moved the battery to the back, underneath the rear deck beside the spare tire mount on right. This makes room up front for the turbo intercooler. I moved the front license plate below the bumper; purchased a 1999 2.4 from a Stratus w / 7,000 mi;  purchased JE fordged pistons 8:1 comp. dish;  Crower billet rods with 5.9" c/c length and  now have become  a "HAHN  RACECRAFT  DEALER" / installer, with Greg at Bunner Engine Development.

With considerable help from Greg at
Bunner Engine Development, we are working out the air flow requirements of these terriffic flowing heads. This one moved 234cfm on the intake side at 28" stock! That's as much as an aftermarket alum.  race head flows!
When we finnished the head went to over 260cfm .   What a nice piece!!
As you can see, there is considerable metal to come out, just to match the factory gaskets. By matching and smoothing the basic factory contours, no "hogging", we were able to increase the flow numbers by over 30 cfm. Im sure there is more to be gained but since this will be a turbo engine, we are taking a conservitive approach for now. This kind of work, including matching the intake and exhaust manifolds and smoothing the runners and comp valve job, runs about $650-700.00.
PT to Pronto in  $30, 000.00
If you would like to know more or are interested in doing some work on your Neon, PT, Eclips or whatever!! Let me know by e-mail ...
